Hope Eder, CEO & Founder

Hope Eder understands exactly where you are because she has stood there herself.

As a New York State Tier 2 cannabis processor and distributor license holder, Hope entered the industry with plans to open her own facility. But after meeting dozens of cannabis founders, especially first-time entrepreneurs and women-owned startups, she saw the same pattern over and over. Passionate owners were building incredible businesses, but many were trying to handle HR on their own, often believing they were too small, couldn't afford help, or would deal with it later.

What she knows from more than 25 years in Human Resources leadership is that waiting until there's a problem is the most expensive time to bring in HR.

Hope made the intentional decision to pivot. Instead of building just one business, she chose to use her experience to support many. Through Higher Heritage HR Consulting, she helps cannabis startups put the right foundations in place early, protecting their business, their license, and their future.
